Yasuyuki Higuchi Non-Executive Director

Mr. Higuchi joined Matsushita Electric Industrial (now Panasonic) and Boston Consulting Group before driving business growth at foreign companies such as Apple and Compaq. In 2003, he was appointed President and CEO of Hewlett-Packard Japan, and in 2005, he led the corporate turnaround as President of Daiei. From 2007, he served as President and Chairman of Microsoft Japan, driving the company’s growth.
He returned to Panasonic in 2017 as President of Panasonic Connected Solutions Company. In 2022, he assumed the role of Representative Director and CEO of Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd., where he led the transformation of the B2B business before stepping down in March 2026. He joined the Board of Directors of Polaris in May 2026. He currently serves as an outside director and advisor for several companies.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (1991).
