Shinichiro Maruyama Executive Advisor

Mr. Maruyama joined Polaris in January 2026. Prior to Polaris, he served as President and CEO of Mizuho Toshiba Leasing from 2021 and became Senior Advisor in 2025, when he also served as Chairman of the Planning Committee and Director of the Japan Leasing Association. He previously held senior positions at Mizuho Leasing, including CSO, CFO, Senior Managing Executive Officer, and Representative Senior Managing Director. In 2012, he was appointed Executive Officer and Councilor in charge of the Large Corporate Unit at Mizuho Bank, after beginning his career at The Industrial Bank of Japan in 1984, where he was engaged in foreign exchange dealing, corporate finance, and corporate planning and strategy. Mr. Maruyama received a BA in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University.
