Mami Horikawa Director

Ms. Horikawa joined Polaris in February 2026. Prior to that, she spent approximately six years at Boston Consulting Group, where she advised clients primarily in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Her work focused on formulation of corporate and business strategies, execution of large-scale transformation initiatives, and structuring and negotiation of strategic alliances. Earlier in her career, Ms. Horikawa joined JSR Corporation. She initially served in research and development before transitioning to a corporate planning role. In this capacity, she was engaged in mid- to long-term business planning, oversight of affiliated companies, capital alliance transactions, contract negotiations, and the establishment of overseas regional headquarters.
Ms. Horikawa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Faculty of Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology (currently Institute of Science Tokyo) and a Master’s degree from its Graduate School of Science and Engineering.
