Kentaro Kato Principal

Mr. Kato joined Polaris in March 2018. Prior to Polaris, he worked in the investment banking division of Mizuho Securities, where he was responsible for the automotive and machinery sectors. There, he was involved in M&A, financing proposals, corporate divestitures, and cross-border transactions by large corporations. Prior to that, he worked at Mizuho Bank, where he was in charge of corporate lending and engaged in comprehensive proposal activities for corporate and individual clients, including business succession planning. Mr. Kato received a B.A. in Economics from Keio University.
