Hiroshige Sugihara Senior Advisor
After working at EMC and Cisco Systems, Hiroshige Sugihara joined Hewlett-Packard Japan in 2010, as Executive Officer and Head of Enterprise Solutions. There, he spearheaded the industry's first Converged Infrastructure initiative, achieving a V-shaped recovery in business performance. In 2013, he joined Oracle Corporation as Senior Vice President at Oracle USA and served concurrently as President and CEO of Oracle Japan. During his tenure, he launched Japan's first cloud business, increasing the company's market capitalization by 2.3 times.
Since 2021, Sugihara has served as CEO of GeoTechnologies Inc., where he has driven new business developments utilizing location information and people flow data. Under his leadership, the company was recognized as one of the top 100 geospatial firms globally, significantly contributing to the transformation of Japanese enterprises.
Currently, Sugihara is a Visiting Professor at Tohoku University's Green Goals Initiative and serves as President & CEO of Digital Aid Inc. He advocates and practices management and consulting based on his unique IT expertise and progressive management theories, aiming to drive transformation and growth in Japanese businesses.
